Cafe Weidinger

Time travel is possible and worth a try. Absolutely authentic and unique place. 5 stars just for the atmosphere. The owner herself Mrs. Weidinger seated us upon arrival. Just sit down, have a drink, read the paper provided on site and soak up the ambiance. Prices are unbeatable,too.

This place is not worth it, the stuff is so unpolite, i went with my boyfriend, we sit and wait for one hour. Nobody try to get close to us and give us the menu. Other people enter and they get serve but we didn’t. In the end when we decided to leave they look at us like they were happy we were leaving. In any moment we were disrespectful. I felt really dicriminated.

We ordered tea and hot chocolate after a cild day, it was nice and cozy. The only downside for me is that they don't accept credit, **only cash**.

One of my favourite spots in Vienna. Some reviews here talking about rudeness of waiters here but I think they are actually just a little slow and not ignoring you on purpose. A great place to relax and have a beer or two or enjoy a coffee and some food. Laid back vibe reminiscent of the Whirling-in-Rags!
