I recently visited this cafΓ© in Vienna and had a lovely experience overall. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the waitress took good care of us throughout our visit. She was very kind and attentive, although she didnβt speak English, which made communication a bit challenging at times β but we still managed just fine. The only real downside was the dessert. While the lava cake itself was delicious and perfectly prepared, the whipped cream served with it was of poor quality and didnβt match the standard of the rest of the dish. Despite these small issues, I genuinely enjoyed my time here and would happily return.
Great mini breakfast menu at very reasonable prices, friendly staff, and a welcoming atmosphere.
We had breakfast before heading for the airport. Food was great, reasonable prices and the atmosphere was cozy. Nice place to relax before our flight.
We loved finding this cafe and think itβs a real hidden gem. We were so excited about the cappuccino - which comes with whipped cream on top. That was a highlight of my trip to Vienna. The breakfast deals are delicious and great value.
Service is a disaster. Not even sure waitress understands english. Slow, out of ordering 4 things the waitress brought 2 - 1 of them is not what we ordered. Once I corrected her, she brought it, but forgot completely for other 2 cakes. Desserts were ok, nothing special, strudel comes without ice cream. Once we asked for a bill, (along with a question can we pay by credit card) she brought the bill and put it in front of the person, who never talked to the waitress, not given it to me! Waitress turned around and sat by other table with somebody she knew and was sipping a glass of something like rose. We had to call her to bring the machine to pay with a card, she came to our table slowly and we asked again for the machine, cause we though she didnβt hear what we wanted, but she took a cheque and said in an irritated manner that yes, she will bring it, turned around and mumbled something in German. Came back after 2 minutes- which is a while- saying that here it is, itβs 10% tips on top of the bill in Austria - which is a total lie. We asked to speak to the manager and she said she is a manager and no one else to speak to. Felt like if we were local, we would get a better attitude, but with us she was rude and 10% tip is such a joke (mathematically she charged even more) Avoid this place
