Cafe Madlik

On Sunday, we each picked up a nut slice and a cookie to take home while driving by. Then came the surprise – the taste was truly unbeatable. Probably the best nut slice and the best cookie in Vienna. I drive by at least twice a day now – I'm a regular customer from now on.

Last night we spontaneously craved ice cream and thought we'd try the ice cream from Madlik Konditorei. My wife and I were thrilled. It was incredibly creamy and rich. While we were enjoying it, the very friendly owner told us he had traveled all the way to Italy to learn from the best. So, this is now our favorite ice cream shop, definitely the best in the area.

We happened to be there yesterday and picked up ice cream for a picnic. We were very surprised – the ice cream can compete with the big ones in Vienna! Really good!!!! The apple turnovers and nut corners were also delicious!
