Cafe City X

I ordered a breakfast of 2 eggs and ham. The eggs came fried together with the ham, with a bread roll on the side. The eggs were perfect, one yolk was delicious and runny, and the other was perfectly jammy. The bread was soft, pillowy and warm on the outside, and had a perfect golden crispy crust. Sadly it is my last day here in Vienna, because if I had tried this café earlier, I would have eaten here every morning of my stay. Delicious breakfast for a very good price.

We are staying in an Airbnb just a few meters from this local hangout. This is not a tourist spot nor do they attempt to be. They have a fairly limited menu written in German but a very friendly staff who are not fluent but very helpful. Had dinner there and it was outstanding. Cooked pork with dumplings and sauerkraut was a only €10.90 and a huge portion at that. Don’t expect a fancy atmosphere filled place and is clearly a local place but after a few visits we felt like we have been coming for years. Very reasonably priced and comfort. We look forward to stopping by for a drink and a bite. BTW they bake the pretzels to order so they are served hot and fresh. 3 thumbs up.

We stopped here for a drink in our last night in Vienna. Everyone was drunk and happy, including the waitress lol. Good drinks and quite cheap, too.

Lovely place, very welcoming staff, quite and cosy. Perfect for ending a full day. Big plus: you can smoke inside 👍 They have meals as well. I kindly recommend this place
