Bustling outfit in a former post office offering international brunch classics, plus pastries....
Had a lovely brunch experience at Cafe Telegraph. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, perfect for a relaxing start to the day. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented from the avocado toast to the pancakes, everything was delicious. Service was attentive and friendly, making the whole visit even more enjoyable. Definitely a great spot for brunch in Vienna. Highly recommend!
The place is very cozy and the food was good. It is advised to book a table though as not doing so could lead to a long waiting time. Have been here for a few times now and the staff has been consistent with their friendliness and competence. Definitely worth visiting :)
I visited Telegraph Café during my time in Vienna and really enjoyed the atmosphere and food. I tried the Eggs Benedict and pancakes — the Eggs Benedict were especially delicious! Perfectly poached eggs, great hollandaise, and everything was well-balanced. The café has a cozy vibe and friendly service. Definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for a great breakfast or brunch spot in the city!
Wanted to check out Café Telegraph for quite a while with all the great stuff I kept hearing. Only went for coffee. The decor was okayish, could've been more theme driven with the name. I enjoyed my Salted Caramel Latte. The Dark hot chocolate that my partner had was pretty okayish. The food menu looked interesting but that plus the pastry menu barely had vegan options to offer, really limiting our choices.
Edit 2: Still nice atmosphere but unfortunately had a table near the entrance on a cold day so there was always a breeze since the door doesn't automatically close and we had to get up and close it each time someone came in. Eggs Benedict was delicious, mushroom bowl was also good. Tried the green Shakshouka this time which was okay but way too much of the base spinach sauce. Maybe meant to be like that but I much prefer the regular Shakshouka. Kurbis latte was amazing. Rather nice atmosphere but acoustics make regular chatter very loud. The Shakshuka was pretty bland with overcooked eggs. After mistakenly being given eggs Benedict and waiting for our eggs florentine they were cooked nicely but personally had way too much garlic in the spinach which took over all the flavours. Both the iced coffee and vanilla elephant chai were delicious. The cakes are very redeeming at least, I loved the cheesecake. The staff were great.
