Café Kriemhild

We come here once a week to play billiards, and it’s always a pleasure. The café has a great atmosphere, the staff is extremely friendly, and the prices for billiards and beer are very fair. Since there are only two tables, you might have to wait sometimes - but thanks to the cozy vibe, it’s easy to spend the evening chatting and enjoying time with friends. Highly recommended.

This café has become one of my favourites in the month I've been in Vienna. I've been there twice for brunch and both have been amazing. I first ordered the DOSTOJEWSKI and it was exquisite. On the second day I went for a SHAKSHOUKA and it was amazing. Price and quality go hand in hand. And the portions are large and good for one person. The only thing is that if you want to come in the afternoon you have to arrive early because they do not accept reservations and it is always full!

My to-go place since I moved to Vienna ❤️ great service, great food and great ambience ✨ been living in Vienna for 3 weeks and been there already 4 times at least. They also speak perfect English so it’s easy to communicate.

I have mixed feelings. I loved the ambience: lots of natural light, comfy couches, vintage-y vibe. The staff was very friendly, but alas, a little distracted: I ordered a water that never materialized, I wasn’t given cutlery and condiments, service was slow. (It was a very busy time though.) The shakshuka was nice but a small portion, the cappuccino…well, not good. My low rating for the food is largely due to the cappuccino. The cakes all looked kinda dry (but I didn’t taste them so this was not confirmed). I wanted to try the schoko-marillen cake they advertised on a blackboard, but they didn’t have it.
