Café Jelinek

I can't understand this place. It's too expensive for what they offer, yet it's usually jammed and most tourists don't even bother. Everything here is pricey for no reason. Even the regular cakes are expensive and are rather okay only, not really tasteful. They look good in photos, though. Coffee is waaaay overpriced and you can't have comfort conversations here since it's usually too noisy. Service is good.

Such a lovely spot! It's old, but that's half the charm! We went in from the cold, to the warm room, we had to wait a little for a table, and there was only one server for the entire space, but he was extremely efficient and friendly. The food was good. It has the classic coffee place vibe and I would definitely recommend it.

Cafe looks old and worn but had a nice vibe. Place seems very popular so we had to wait some minutes before we got our table. Service was really good. Coffee and cake were just okay.

Stopped into Cafe Jelinek for some Apple strudel. The staff were friendly and polite. The cafe itself feels very authentic and was comfortable. I had the strudel with a pot of green tea and it cost around €12. So while not a cheap spot, I enjoyed being able to relax in a cosy atmosphere with my book my strudel and my semi hot tea.
