I tried the hot chocolate and it was honestly awful, but the service was really friendly. The place has this old, nostalgic feeling and the music was actually pretty good. I don’t think I’ll return, but I can see how it could become a nice hangout spot for others.

A good laid back place for drinks and easy food.

I only came for some drinks. There were enough seats outside and the staff also brought us some blankets. The service in general was very nice! The wine of the Spritzer was not of high quality and gave us a headache and the pizza was definitely deep frozen. Can recommend for a beer and eventually a snack to share while enjoying the atmosphere of the busy market.

I had my birthday party in the Party Cellar of the cafe - and it was a truly wonderful celebration! The service was excellent and it was very easy to organise. A music system was provided and we got our own bartender - who was extremely friendly. Would highly recommend to anyone who wanted to organise a celebration for around 30-40 people.

An alternative, trendy and inexpensive pub, typical of Yppenplatz, which attracts a very mixed, rather young crowd and offers a good selection of drinks and simple dishes. In summer, the outdoor area is also very inviting. In short: the food is good but lacks finesse, the service is nice but not super attentive and the dining room is a bit bare and therefore noisy. A solid choice!
