Excellent spot. Breakfast was flawless, and affordable. The bread and croissants were so fresh. Free wifi and table water. Would highly recommend
Nice place to get a warm drink after walkibg around town. Relaxing atmosphere, nice background music and friendly staff. I did not order food, so U can't comment on this aspect.
Café Camus is a really nice coffee shop in Vienna, and it’s super close to the Kunstmuseum. We chose it because it was the closest spot to grab breakfast before heading into the museum, and it was definitely a good choice. Like pretty much everywhere we tried in Vienna, the eggs and bacon were amazing, I obviously had my favorites, but this place was definitely up there. We actually arrived first, so for a few minutes we had the whole place to ourselves before people started coming in. The café is very clean, the service is good, the food is great, and the coffee is great too. I really enjoyed it. I highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area or headed to the museum. It’s a perfect little spot to start your day. By the way, if you go there take a sweater to eat inside because it’s a little cool.
Such a nice, cozy spot for breakfast! They've got a surprising big variety of food, like egg breakfasts, salads, sandwiches, and soups 🍲. The staff were super nice, and the cafe had a really calm, homey vibe. Our food came fast, was delicious, and the portions were really generous – I'd totally recommend it! 👌
We stopped at Cafe Camus and really enjoyed the food – everything was very tasty. We tried the Italian burger, schnitzel, and several desserts. The desserts were a real highlight – one of the best I’ve had in Vienna, and for only €8, it felt like a great deal. Prices overall are quite reasonable, and the atmosphere is nice for a casual meal. On the downside, the service could be better. One of the waiters accidentally dropped a saucer of sauce, spilled some drops on us, and didn’t apologize. Even worse, the spilled sauce stayed on the street for more than half an hour while people kept stepping in it. Also, one of the glasses we were given was cracked. Overall: delicious food and good value for money, but service and attention to detail could be improved.
