Elegant building housing a casino with roulette, Blackjack, poker & slot machines, plus dining....
This was first visit and last visit. Sincerely it was a disgusting experience. The game is so rigged. Not 1 person from machines win 1 euro. All the machines are programmed to 100% lose. I have the proof. This place must be investigated for cheating its hosts and it’s definitely rigged. Every other casino I visit sometimes people lose and sometimes win. But here is place of losing. Cause machine is controlled just to suck your money. Absolutely disgusting. And soft drinks are not free by the way. You have to pay for any drink you take. Almost In the whole world soft drinks in casino is free. But not in Vienna casino. 🤮
Edited on 20feb in response to the reply from Casino Wien: We were told to pay this fee before we could enter the casino. If that’s not an entrance fee, I wonder what is that known as 🤔🤔 Original post: Pay an entrance fee of Euro 27 and get Euro 30 of gambling chips. Limited table games. Nice building and entrance
some of the most friendly bartenders i’ve met before. so are the staff, all around the casino. it’s also got a smoking terrace, for people wanting to enjoy a smoke/cigar, & not have to go outside, & then show your pass/tag, to re-enter. the terrace is best place to enjoy a smoke/cigar, while even playing the slots, all being at the same time! awesome!
Beautiful building with a nice music and light show outside.
We received a gift certificate for dinner at Casino Wien, and happily used it to celebrate a special day. Although we are not big gamblers, we decided to get the €9 for €10 chips deal you can use on slots or at the tables. This turned out to be a great decision. Not only did we come out ahead, but it was fun to try the different games. The service throughout the house was excellent, especially in the restaurant. An elegant and intimate space, we had a table overlooking Kärntner Strasse, which felt really special. The food was fabulous and beautifully presented. You do need an ID to get in, as Austria has strict requirements for casinos (something a bit unusual for us as Americans) but it was easy and worth it for the lovely evening we spent in this unique location. Definitely put it on your to-do list if visiting Vienna.
