Aufzug Café

Aufzug Café is a charming, small café near the Belvedere Palace where you can actually sit inside restored vintage elevator cabins from the early 1900s . The owner, a passionate elevator collector, often wears a period-appropriate uniform, adding to the immersive, nostalgic feel . Amazing 👏 🤩

Lovely concept cafe in a beautiful area. The double espresso was great. For the sweets, cake and apple turnover, I’d say they were average. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the baristas are helpful. I came here last September too, so this will be my go-to place when I’m in town again.

Such a cute place! I love the vintage atmosphere and all the seating area are so photogenic. The barista’s are very kind. I ordered the vanilla latte and ring cake, they are all taste amazing. It wasnt crowded when i get here so that is great.

Nicely decorated cool cafe near the station and the palace. There are two elevator seating tables but unfortunately we didn’t manage to sit inside due to a long queue. A bit crowded too but this is expected for such a fancy cafe isn’t it? ☕️

We absolutely love this café. The elevator seating inside is incredibly cool and unique, making the experience even more special. The coffee is excellent—rich, smooth, and truly enjoyable. The chocolate croissant is also delicious, perfectly flaky with a wonderful chocolate flavor. We’ve visited two days in a row and still can’t get enough of their coffee drinks. This is definitely a place we would happily return to again and again.
