Weekday mornings are the quietest
This was at a nice central location and good for a quick stop, but my experience was mixed. I tried their vegetable pizza in the morning and it was surprisingly good — fresh, warm, and flavourful, definitely worth it at that time of day. On the other hand, the coffee was very disappointing. They didn’t seem to know what an Americano was, and the flavour was quite bad. The croissant was also below expectations — not fresh and lacking the buttery taste you’d expect. Overall, a place that can be nice for a quick snack like the veggie pizza, but definitely not for coffee or pastries.
I had an Apple Strudel from Anker, a bakery chain in Vienna. This was a great breakfast pastry that reminded me of an apple pie! I’d recommend trying strudel and Anker while visiting Vienna.
Stopped in for a quick coffee and snack for breakfast. The service was friendly and efficient. The Latté was ok. Too much foam and was more like a cappuccino. The danish was tasty and fresh. Wasn’t crazy about the presence of lots of flies and wasps.
I just picked this strawberry cake because it was the last one left. It was quite a big slice the cake is soft and spongy, sweet and hardened top layer to add texture, the cake is the right sugar level for me. Cappuccino I had was also quite good, foamy.
If I could, I would give 0 stars!!!! Please avoid at all costs! If you are a local, you will be fine but if you are a tourist that will definitely affect your experience dramatically. Nobody speaks English whatsoever, staff not aware of the selection of food that they offer. They tried to pretend we are not there while waiting on the queue and give priority to the locals. The staff was extremely rude with us and treated us poorly. Also, there is a displayed discount of 20% for hot drinks and croissants which apparently doesn’t apply to foreigners!!! So so discriminative! Didn’t want to argue with them for a few cents as they don’t even speak English and it would be a negative way to start the day but otherwise I would have!!! Also, they didn’t give us plates while for the locals there were. The food was also cold and probably from the day before. A bit tasteless some would say. The only thing which was okay, was the cappuccino. Avoid at all costs!!!!
