Daylight robbery........ Give us empty chimney cake without any fillings and charged us £15.00 for two. Disgusting 🫣 i asked why no fillings he replied they dont have in stock. Ignored me and carry on serving when I asked for a refund. These ppl are not to be trusted. Just thieving money grapping. It make me think twice to recommend anyone going Prague. They rude and the service was terrible. Smirking at us for our own right. "Shame and Disgusting" this is how i describe them.

Ordered the Raspberry Chimney Cake shown with pink ice cream and pink cake. It was also the “best seller” on the menu. We received a plain cake with mixed vanilla and chocolate ice cream (only a few raspberries on top). We told them this didn’t match the picture and he just moved the same ice cream into a different cake, which looked terrible. He even said "Nobody complained about this." We felt dismissed. The cake itself didn’t taste good, the cake was rock hard, it just wasn’t worth the money.

Trdlokafe is a great place to try the traditional chimney cake in Prague. The dessert is freshly made, warm, and absolutely delicious, with a perfect balance of sweetness and texture. It’s a simple spot focused on this iconic treat, but it’s definitely worth stopping by if you want to taste a classic local dessert. A must-try when walking around the city, especially if you’re curious about traditional sweets.

We ordered the Oreo chimney cone and a cinnamon cone. The staff member got a pink cone for the Oreo, then filled it with strawberry ice cream - when I told her it should be vanilla for Oreo, she dumped the iced cream out and wiped it with a paper towel, then refilled it with vanilla. As she did this, I watched her lick her fingers and then start putting Oreos on the ice cream one by with her dirty hands that she just licked. I asked her about it and she just shrugged. She then gave us an empty rock hard cinnamon cone without any ice cream in it even though she charged us for two filled cones. We threw it out right away. I would stay away from this place.

I ordered the “Dubai Chimney Cake” from this shop, and at first, it looked really good. However, I quickly noticed an issue with the ice cream’s texture—it was completely different from what other customers had received before me. Before I was served, I overheard the girl preparing my order discussing the ice cream with her colleague. She even smelled the ice cream, which gave me the impression that something was wrong. Shortly after, her colleague told another customer they would need to wait at least 5 minutes because the ice cream wasn’t ready. When I finally received my order and tasted the ice cream, I was extremely disappointed. It had no flavor at all—it was literally just ice. I went back to the girl who served me to point out the issue and even invited her to taste it for herself. She took a spoon, tasted it, and said, “It’s okay, it tastes vanilla,” dismissing my concern. This was very unprofessional behavior. The entire experience left me dissatisfied, and I wouldn’t recommend this place unless they improve their quality and customer service.
