Weekday mornings are the quietest
While walking around Prague in a morning, I came across this place by serendipity. It's a perfect spot for coffee and a croissant, or even for a heavy brunch. Or if you're in a hurry, you can take coffee to-go. They also serve very good tea. I had the rooibos tea, and it was amazing.
A cozy, dog-friendly bakery in the heart of Vinohrady, close to the beautiful Riegrovy Sady park. The staff are kind and well-prepared. The coffee is creamy and delicious. We tried the raspberry Danish among the pastries — fresh and crispy on the outside, soft inside, filled with a smooth cream and fresh raspberries. I can only recommend this place!
We went for brunch today and had an overall pleasant experience, though the food didn’t quite meet our expectations. I ordered the French toast, which was okay but not as tasty as I had hoped. My partner had the salmon toast, which was fine but not particularly memorable. The prices feel a bit on the higher side, especially considering that there are now several great brunch spots in Prague. That said, the music is always excellent and really adds to the atmosphere.
Stopped by for some coffee and pastries. The pastry selection wasn’t large, but it was well curated, and I was delighted to see both a cube croissant and a cardamom muffin available. As cardamom enthusiasts, we make a point of trying every cardamom-based treat we come across in our travels around the world, so we couldn’t resist. We also ordered a fruit tea and a cappuccino. Both the cappuccino and the tea were excellent. The cube croissant with sea buckthorn filling was both visually stunning and genuinely delicious. There was a generous amount of filling, and its bright, tangy flavor was wonderfully balanced—definitely a highlight. The cardamom muffin, while beautifully presented with a rich, buttery aroma, unfortunately lacked the distinct cardamom flavor we were hoping for. The café itself is warmly decorated and has a cozy ambiance, though the tables are set quite close together. They also offer a pleasant outdoor seating area for days when the weather is more forgiving. One downside for us was the volume of the background music, which was noticeably loud and made conversation challenging. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and although the service was a bit slow, it was understandable given how busy the place was.
The atmosphere there was really nice and cozy, with warm lighting and a relaxed vibe that made me feel comfortable right away. The staff were super friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which created a pleasant experience from the start. There were plenty of choices when it came to pastries and bread, everything looked fresh and tasted homemade. I especially enjoyed the brunch, which was not only good in portion but also nicely prepared and flavorful. The drinks were also delicious, from the coffee to the fresh juices, making it a perfect spot to spend a lazy morning or catch up with friends. Definitely a place I would recommend and come back to
