The Miners Coffee Charles Bridge

Good location. But coffee so milky. Comfy place for take some rest after walking 🥰

We stopped here to warm up after a long walk through Malá Strana. It is a cozy and well-designed coffee shop. We ordered a cortado with oat milk and a wild raspberry tea. The tea was exceptional, while the cortado was fairly average, with the milk dominating the coffee flavor. Later, encouraged by the menu display, I ordered an espresso and a Dubai hot chocolate. The espresso was good, but the Dubai hot chocolate was disappointing. Based on the menu display, I expected a rich chocolate paired with pistachio cream; instead, it tasted like regular hot chocolate with only faint notes of pistachio syrup.

For breakfast, we tried the Syrniki served with greek yogurt and home-made berry jam. Never had Syrniki before so if you’re curious, it’s cottage cheese/cheese curd pancakes from Eastern Slavic region, now found in Belarusian, Russian, Ukrainian, Latvian and Lithuanian cuisine. It was a pretty refreshing and delicious breakfast! For coffee, they do pour overs but you have to ask. Overall, a hip and cozy coffee shop for you to stop by when exploring the area! Pourover + Syrniki = ~$20 USD

Not the best experience, staff were miserable, no greeting or smile as we entered. Our lattes were only just warm and when we pointed this out to the waitress she said this was the normal temperature and we should have asked for them to be extra hot! She did take them away and brought two fresh ones but these were only marginally warmer. Our French omelettes arrived and again were just warm not hot. Didn't say anything as felt uncomfortable about the whole situation. Will not return and do not recommend this cafe. Total cost of 2 x Lattes and 2 x French Omelette was 700 Czech korun equivalent to approximately £28!

The best Avocado toast with poached egg that we’ve ever shared, everything was on point, delicious! The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is clean but still very cozy. We will come back for sure!
