We actually discovered this café by accident in the evening. It looked so interesting, but since there were only about 30 minutes left before closing, we decided not to go in and instead come back the next day and I’m really glad we did. The concept is incredibly cute and unique: a hair salon in one part, and a café in the other. It immediately feels special and thoughtfully designed. Everything about it was charming. My mother had a tea, my father a coffee, my brother an espresso, and I had a matcha (if I remember correctly) and every single drink was really good, you could tell that quality matters here. The atmosphere was sweet and welcoming, the staff were very kind and attentive, and the overall vibe was relaxed and warm. We even sat outside (in December), because it was unusually warm. What also stood out: we only heard Czech around us, which always says a lot., it clearly feels like a place loved by locals, not a tourist spot. All in all, such a cute, thoughtful place with great drinks and a lovely atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit and a clear recommendation❤️
Nice little cafe hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the city noise. The outdoor area is very cosy and the staff is very friendly! The coffee is more on the fruity/acidic side - the music at the cafe doesn’t fit to the overall vibe but rather to the hair salon next door (it’s actually connected to the cafe)
If you are used to strong dark coffee this place probably isn’t for you. I would try the flat white for 2 shots of espresso to punch it up. Nonetheless the roasted beans are good in flavor and the pastry was fresh. Coffee in general js quite expensive in Prague and this is in line with other places.
There weren't a lot of coffee places open at 7am and Spell was one that was. Nice location, great ambience, good service, good coffee and an ok variety of pastry. I usually start my day early, so this was my go to place the entire time I was in Prague.
Hidden gem with its garden in the business of central Prague. Walking distance from St Venceslav Square as well as from main rail station. The prices are very fair for the city centre. Nice bites and matcha or coffee. The matcha quality is ok. The waitress can explain you well how sweet the desserts or drinks are very accurately.
