This was my first experience feeling discriminated against as a person of colour, and it was deeply disappointing. The staff were visibly rude and uninterested in taking our order, while being warm, smiling, and attentive with other customers. They even offered table service to others, which we were not given. We were spoken to in a condescending and disrespectful manner, despite the staff having no problem speaking politely and in clear English with white customers around us. Our order took a long time to prepare and was left sitting at the counter. Eventually, we were asked to collect it ourselves. We were called over with “You! Come here, take your order,” while other customers were served at their tables. We ordered a pumpkin spice latte and a cappuccino. Both were below average and not even lukewarm. The prices are jacked up, the menu has very limited options, and the place feels like a tourist trap. We only went here because we were visiting the castle and happened to come across it. Overall, it was a very unpleasant experience and a complete waste of money. I would not recommend this place.

Bombardino is great. Reminiscent of an Italian ski resort. Must try if you have a cold nose and need a warm up.

An absolute gem of an ice cream parlour. Utterly delightful in every way charming ambience, exquisite ice cream, and impeccable service. Lucia, in particular, was simply marvellous: warm, attentive, and thoroughly professional. A truly lovely experience. Highly recommended for those with a refined sweet tooth. Thank you, Ferenc

A great little place where you can get a good coffee and cake deal for 145. Service was very good. Gelato is homemade and tastes great. Highly recommend the pistachio gelato!
