We visited Monkey Bar for my husband’s birthday and asked in advance for a focus on non-alcoholic cocktails. The team were fully prepared for us – our waitress knew about the request, took time to explain each drink, the flavours and what to expect, and even surprised my husband with a small birthday cocktail. The quality of the non-alcoholic cocktails really impressed us. The flavours were complex, balanced and full-bodied – you would not guess there was no alcohol at all. No “juice in a fancy glass” here, but proper crafted drinks. On top of that, the atmosphere and vibe are great: stylish, relaxed, and with genuinely warm service. Highly recommend, especially if you are looking for serious non-alcoholic options and still want a proper bar experience.

We started with two cocktails that were perfect! Jarda the waiter explained a little about each of them and their making process, very interesting. Then we had the shrimp borito, the ceasar salad and the tuna on fried rice. They were all great.

I visited Monkey Bar last Saturday night with two friends for dinner and had a mixed experience. The atmosphere inside is very nice and the place looks interesting. I had reserved a table for three and everything seemed promising at the start. Before ordering, I told the waiter that I wanted to try a specific tequila (Teremana Añejo), and he said it was no problem. My friends ordered two non-alcoholic drinks. However, the waiter didn’t take any notes, and as a result one of my friends received his drink with tequila inside, even though he had explicitly ordered a non-alcoholic one. Later, when we checked the bill, we also noticed that I had been served a different tequila (Teremana Blanco) instead of the one I had asked for several times. The food was good, but given the reputation of the place we were expecting something a bit more impressive. Overall it felt like there was more focus on appearance than on actual attention to detail. Potential to be a great experience, but the service mistakes left us disappointed.

Very cozy and welcoming bar. I especially loved their drink menu, which focuses on highlighting key flavors and what you can expect from the drink, rather than meticulous ingredient lists or long histories. Jaroslav was a great waiter. He explained the drinks clearly and listened to what we were looking for. He even adjusted my first drink to really meet my expectations, and delivered it with excellence.

This is a beautiful bar with amazing cocktails. The staff is unfortunately not as friendly as expected. The cocktails are really yummy. Prices are on the higher side but it’s a really beautiful ambiance and since it’s right at the hotel we are staying at it’s very convenient
