Mamaison Hotel

Fantastic place to stay. The location is perfect, with everything you need within about a 5–10 minute walk, which made getting around Prague really easy. The buffet breakfast was superb — very clean, well organised and loads of options to choose from. Something for everyone. Staff were brilliant as well, really helpful and friendly throughout our stay, and the whole place was spotless. Would definitely stay here again 👍

Nice, quiet area with several tramlines passing by in Stepanska stop (5 minutes walk form the hotel). The downtown is 15 minutes walk, but there aren't too many groceries in the neighbourghood. The room is spaceous, clean and neatly organized. Very comfortable for longer stay too. The gym is actualy well equipped: 2 treadmills, a stepping machines, and other cardios; a set of dumbbels and a combined device for various exercises. Towels and desinfectatnt available, open 0-24. Little spooky to get there, but no big deal. Thick mat palced next to the bench. The lobby bar looks welcoming, but unfortunately it is deserted for some reasons. The snackbar by the reception has fair prices, offers quic solutions if you want to die of hunger, but it is still much better to take any restaurants in the 150 m radius :D Staff has been very patient, helpful and professional. The breakfast is a nice treat: fresh fruit, vegetables, various ouatmieals, cereals and flakes toped by multipe dried fruit and nut options. I didn't like the fruit juices, but that's probably my taste. The pastries are delicios and fresh, coldcuts are fresh and tasty. Hot meal every day available fro breakfast. The dining area is big, seats 100 people easily an the balcony looks welcoming (not in wintertime).

A very good hotel in a quiet neighbourhood, within easy and pleasant walking distance of the city centre. Service is polite and professional. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and well soundproofed, allowing for a restful stay. Breakfast is generous and varied; however, the range of olives and, in particular, the selection of bread may be worth noting for guests with dietary preferences or sensitivities. Overall, a comfortable and well-located hotel offering good value. We would be happy to stay here again

My boyfriend and I stayed at Mamaison Residence Downtown Prague for his birthday, and our stay exceeded all expectations. From the very beginning, the staff impressed us with their friendliness and professionalism. They responded quickly to emails and even arranged a small birthday surprise at my request — huge thanks to them for making the day extra special! The location is very convenient: only a 30-minute taxi ride from the airport and about a 10-minute walk to the city center. At the same time, the area is quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring Prague. Our room was large and spacious, with comfortable furniture and all the amenities we needed. It felt cozy and relaxing, a real home away from home. The only thing to note: if you’re used to a traditional English breakfast, you won’t find it here. Overall, Mamaison Residence Downtown Prague left us with only positive impressions. Great location, attentive staff, and comfortable rooms make it an ideal choice for a stay in Prague, especially if you’re celebrating something special.

If you value in room cleanliness this is not the hotel for you - let me explain why… We are currently staying at Mamaison Residence Downtown (23–28 October 2025). The gentleman who checked us in was lovely and explained that rooms receive a light daily service, towels replaced (if left on the floor), toilet paper replenished, beds straightened, and on the third day, fresh sheets and a full clean. Unfortunately, none of that has occurred. We’re now on our fourth night, and the sheets have never been changed. Towels were only replaced twice, and only because we asked the cleaning staff in the hallway. We also had to request toilet paper as the room hadn’t been serviced at all. The coffee pods provided on arrival were a nice touch, but they were never replenished, nor were the glasses cleaned. We physically asked at reception for our room to be cleaned, and despite assurances, nothing was done. It’s unacceptable to have to chase basic housekeeping such as towels, toilet paper, and clean sheets. On a positive note, the location is good, the buffet breakfast is good, a solid selection, fresh food, and very efficient service. The restaurant and communal areas are pleasant, but the in-room experience is woeful. If you value cleanliness and consistent room service, I cannot recommend this hotel.
