Nice cute place to just have a coffee and read

On Sunday morning, I visited Kofinno in Waltrovka with my family and relatives visiting from Germany. While the porridge was good as usual, unfortunately it was the only positive part of the visit. Eggs ordered “well done” were not prepared as requested, all of the coffees were cold, and the overall service was unpleasant. We chose not to complain and tried to continue with our meal. The situation escalated when my four-year-old daughter accidentally spilled a small amount of sugar. The waitress reacted with visible annoyance, including sighing and shaking her head. When I later asked for the bill, the waiter pointed out light food marks on my daughter’s chair (minor hand marks that could easily be wiped off) and told me that I needed to find a cloth and clean the chair myself before leaving. I have eaten in hundreds of restaurants around the world and have lived in Prague for eight years, and this is the first time I have ever been asked to clean restaurant furniture as a paying customer. When I questioned this, I was told that this is “how things work in the Czech Republic,” which I strongly disagree with. I fully agree that guests should not leave restaurants in a disrespectful state. However, families with young children know that small accidents can happen, and handling them professionally is part of running a hospitality business. Based on our experience, I would recommend that anyone visiting be prepared to clean furniture themselves, as guests may be asked to do so before leaving. In response to your review, what steps have you done ? Zero it seems. The fact of the matter is that the staff and owners are racist towards foreigners. There is no doubt in my mind that if this was a Czech person, they would have never asked them to clean the furniture before they pay the bill. I would highly recommend that if you are a foreigner and do not want to treated like one, do not visit this restuarant.

Excellent place for celebrations, The food was delicious, the service outstanding, and the atmosphere perfect for a special occasion. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always smiling they really made the evening unforgettable. Highly recommend this place for any celebration

We celebrated my husband’s 40th birthday here, and it was absolutely wonderful! The attention and service were outstanding especially the manager, who was always ready to help with anything we needed. The staff were all so kind, smiling, and attentive. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Definitely an excellent place
