Nice small cinema, perfect for enjoying an art movie
Very cute and cozy small cinema downtown, must give it a try! ☺️
Too bad 1 is the minimum. Upon arrival we were told the projector is broken and we will be given tickets for other time, if we bought tickets online. They were not able to return payment in any other way, with words, its a pitty... Avoid at any costs.
Love the family atmosphere here! A very tiny cinema with a restaurant, friendly and welcoming. However, the lack of incline in its movie room can be irritating if you're on the small side and the guests before you aren't. But still worth it!
Waste of time to even try to see a movie here. My husband and I went to Kino Evald twice. The first time was a few years ago. We bought our tickets online. The screen is tiny, so for the price, it probably is better to go to a bigger theater like Bio Oko or Kino Aero fro the same price, however, it was overall okay. Two days ago, however, we went there again. We were running late and tried to pay for our tickets with card, which they did not accept. I found it strange because most places are switching to EET. Still, the lady told my husband to go to the ATM upstairs. The ATM only gave 1,000 czk bills. When my husband tried to pay for our tickets, about 250 czk, with the bill, the woman became very cranky again and told him to go to the bar to change it (normally in such a situation, the cashier would do this for you as it is there problem if they don't have change for a reasonably sized bill for a purchase.) The bar also refused to change it, and BTW my husband speaks Czech so there was not language misunderstanding. In the end, we had to skip our date night that we had so looked forward to because the theater wouldn't let us pay for a movie! Really, I don't know how this place stays in business.
