I'm a big fan of this hidden gem. Food and drink quality is great for a fair price. Cakes are home made and look amazing. The server is always nice and helpful.
I loved this spot. It was nice and quiet and the ambience was great. Although I didn't try the food, it smelled so good in there. I had a double cappuccino and it was amazing. Great service and the gentleman attending the place was very gracious. Super clean bathrooms too! I work nearby so I'm definitely coming back!
🌟 A Hidden Gem in Prague – Kavárna Dva Šálky 🌟 Tucked away in a charming corner of Prague, Kavárna Dva Šálky is the kind of café that makes you want to linger a little longer than planned. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality—especially from the wonderful male barista who not only prepared everything with care but personally brought it to my table with a smile that felt like sunshine. ☕ Double Espresso Let’s start with the double espresso: bold, velvety, and perfectly balanced. It had that rich crema on top and a depth of flavor that true coffee lovers will appreciate. It was the kind of espresso that wakes up your senses without overwhelming them—smooth, strong, and satisfying. 🥧 Cherry Pie Then came the cherry pie, and wow—what a treat. The crust was buttery and flaky, and the filling had just the right balance of tart and sweet. You could tell it was made with real cherries, not some overly processed filling. It tasted like something a Czech grandmother might bake, with love and tradition in every bite. 🍗 Chicken Shawarma The chicken shawarma was a delightful surprise—tender, spiced just right, and served with a fresh side that complemented it beautifully. It had that street-food soul with café-level finesse. A hearty, flavorful dish that felt both comforting and elevated. 🌿 Sidewalk Seating And then there’s the sidewalk area—an absolute highlight. Sitting outside with my espresso and pie, watching the world go by, felt like stepping into a European daydream. Locals strolling, tourists marveling, and the gentle hum of city life made it the perfect backdrop for a peaceful afternoon. --- Whether you’re a coffee aficionado, a dessert enthusiast, or just someone looking for a cozy spot to soak in Prague’s charm, Kavárna Dva Šálky is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back—and next time, I might just stay for another slice of pie.
Kavárna Dva šálky - My first time here. A new coffee shop in my neighborhood near Budějovická metro stop. I don’t usually stop along this strip of boringly ugly strip mall stores that face onto Budějovická North of DBK. Today I’m rather glad I did. This place is an exception. Good coffee, homemade cakes and a thoughtful casual elegance that reminds me of street cafe in Paris. It’s also open on the weekends with comfortable outside seating at three tables. Perfect for catching some rays on a warm spring afternoon and watching the world go by. Budějovická 1123/13, 140 00 Praha 4-Michle, Czechia
Super beautiful 😻 cozy coffee place. I love the vibes. Beautiful decorations, sofa. Close to the subway exit. Really relaxing. Nice service and food. Fair prices.
