Can only recommend this cafe! You will get an amazing view, when u take seats in the balcony. In combination with the huge sortiment of delicious cafeecreations and smaller dessertdishes, it offers a perfect atmosphere to calm down. On top the waiter was polite and accommodating. Overall you get the chance to imagine why the former literalists spend so much time in such cafes.

We came for the view & atmosphere but I'd come back for the food. I had the chicken with walnuts, brie & cranberry and a mojito. Probably the best mojito I've ever had in both taste and presentation. The chicken was beautifully done although I could have used some more demi glace to moisten my Potatoes. There's a Gatsby like vibe in the restaurant/bar area which makes me love it even more because it's one of my favorite movies. Definitely my favorite restaurant in Prague. A must-visit if you're planning a trip here.

The first café I visited when I arrived in Prague, and probably the best. A very pleasant atmosphere, great for those who enjoy writing leisurely or savoring a good coffee. Generously served, and it has an incredible view

This should be a true kavarna, for the people, affordable and sympathetic, but it tries to be a classy restaurant. So now its something in between and that doesn’t work, it’s almost always empty. It has potential, but it should be managed better: attract students, make it more sympathetic

This is always a great place to visit. The coffee is great, the service even greater and the ambiance is timeless. This is a place that has retained the old ambiance that some other places like the Orient, Slavia an Louvre used to have but which have gone too touristy. This place is sheer heaven and always a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of town.
