Great pub in Mala Strana, stop by this place any time we're in Prague.
Small reminder: if you are a tourist, don't come here. They are clear with their treatment from the first second, they don't want us.
We visited this place with my boyfriend in December. When my boyfriend politely asked if there was an English menu, as everything was written only in Czech, the response we received from the woman at the bar was quite disappointing. Instead of offering help, she sarcastically suggested that we use Google Translate or another method to understand the menu and placed it on the table in a very abrupt and disrespectful manner, in front of us and other customers. Shortly after, she made comments in Czech while pointing at us and laughing with others, which made us feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. As a result, we decided to leave. The venue itself was rather average, but the service was unprofessional and lacking basic courtesy. This was the first time I have experienced such treatment, especially while visiting another country. Overall, it was a very unpleasant experience.
Beautiful place with a relaxed atmosphere. Prices are reasonable and the service is great.
Hidden gem in Prague, you will find mostly the local artists in here, having deep talks over wine or a shot. The atmosphere is dvery unique, the interior is tiny yet so cozy. Václav Havel used to like this place and wrote a thank you letter to it☺️ The place has cheap prices and is definitely worth visiting. It has an awesome magic to it. Do not expect a restaurant it is a coffee shop bar❤️
