Weekday mornings are the quietest
very nice place, we like Žižkostel, it's good that it's alive again. it's great that there are toys for children and a sandbox in the garden. the star of the day is for the Prosecco. I tried it twice in a few months and each time it was a tragedy. it tasted sour and smelled terribly of alcohol. And the glass wasn't exactly cheap. a bottle of good Prosecco can be found for under two hundred, so I hope they try to change that. the second one is for the fact that my husband got two spoiled parkas in a roll there. they said they smelled terrible, of course the staff refunded the money without any problem.
The best chocolate I've ever had, very nice service..the sausage was great
A pleasant place on Barikádníků Square with a nice garden, but an absolutely divinely tuned retro interior with Brussels furniture and old TVs. The only beer on tap is Orange Express from Chříč, which is good, but gets a bit boring after three sips - but you can buy other cans.
A little hidden gem in the heart of Žižkov. Great beer, great neighborhood atmosphere despite being in the big busy district. Place that was missing in the area and perfectly fits the community of people living in the houses around
Pleasant sitting in the outdoor garden or inside in a quiet space with a retro style. On the day of our visit it was half empty, so there were only a few working people sitting inside, I can imagine a nice atmosphere outside with a beer or lemonade and friends. The lady behind the bar was very pleasant. We had a coffee, which was not very good, but we didn't have high expectations, because the place seems more like a place where we would go for a beer. The cakes were wrapped in foil in the display case and we were asked to take it off ourselves - kind of strange, but cool. There is also a sandbox for children in the garden, there are flowers planted in the flower beds and it is clear that someone is trying to improve it, but the poo from the dogs that were around the table spoiled it. When the owners fine-tune the details, it will be a very nice place. Overall, it seems like a place for locals and relatively regular customers to meet.
