Groove Bar

Unfortunately, I will never be returning to this bar again. They do have good cocktails and that is the only redeeming fact. I have never met more disrespectful staff in my life. The issue was in that the bar is cash only. After we found that out, we were going to go get some cash, but the bartender told us it’s not a problem if we go get it later. Later we switched seats and sat with some people we met. After this they wanted us to pay our bill, which is fair enough. However, as our friend was getting ready to go to the ATM, the waitress came up to us about 5 times in a couple of minutes becoming more and more rude each time. At one point almost getting into my face and saying “did you understand me!” and finally literally ordering our friends to go. This all occurred in no more than 5 minutes. Then when our friend went out to get the cash she came up to us and became angry that he went to an actual ATM and not a “cash machine” they had in the basement, which charges you money to take out money. The whole thing was just unnecessary and incredibly rude, not to mention that while we were sitting at the bar the bar tender was constantly “checking up” on us, but that is more or less standard for Prague. From what I have heard, this kind of treatment isn’t an isolated incident, but has happened to other people in this bar as well.

It was a good evening , with really delish food and good drinks , i sure about this place !

The ambiance is okay without being great, it’s the same sound over and over again. Quite expensive compared to other bar without a better quality of service. They’ll tell you only when you’ll have to pay that they only take cash, but miraculously they have an ATM in the bar. Overall, flee it, they’ll only try to rip you off if you’re a tourist

Very decent music! Went here with my wife and was surprised to see the place to be packed with people on a Tuesday night in January. Quick service from the friendly staff. We tried six different cocktails, all good. Price between 180-200 ZCK each. They also got local beer on the menu, as well as wine, cognac, shots and so on.
