Extremely rude service. If you value being treated with basic respect and professionalism, I’d strongly suggest avoiding this place. The overall attitude of the staff makes the experience very unpleasant, and it’s clear that good customer service isn’t a priority here. There’s a noticeable lack of courtesy and consideration, which leaves a negative impression from the moment you arrive. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a welcoming or friendly environment. Edit: yes, I was there, yes, it happened, and no, I don’t remember the humidity level or if Mercury was in retrograde at the time. I just know that politeness wasn’t on the menu. For anyone reading: if you enjoy being scolded online for sharing your experience, this place might be perfect for you. For everyone else, maybe pick somewhere where feedback doesn’t trigger a Shakespearean meltdown.
The comfort of seats is great! The staff could be more friendlier, the sweets are average. But price are cheep and the place is great!
We visited this café on our trip to Prague and were shocked at how badly we were treated. While waiting outside for a table to become free, my wife brought our young daughter inside to quickly use the restroom and wash her hands before eating. As they came out, a waiter snapped, “Toilets are not for the public,” in an incredibly rude and condescending manner. This was appalling. Who exactly do they think “the public” is, if not paying customers who are about to dine there? His tone was aggressive, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. Instead of making us feel welcome, he made us feel like an inconvenience. Needless to say, we didn’t bother staying. We went to a different nearby restaurant where the staff were polite, kind, and actually valued their customers. Abysmal service, arrogant staff, and zero hospitality. If you’re in Prague and want to be treated with basic respect, avoid this place.
Nice quite cafe for a stop for a drink or a light bite etc. Staff where very friendly and helpful while not being pushy. My Son also bought 3 x formula 1 framed prints and was very happy with the service. Prices were very reasonable especially when close to the main area of Prague
It was a very nice location to have a drink with a small snack. The servant was extraordinary kind. He recommended an ice coffee with coconut and it was the best ice coffee I ever drunk. The homemade lemonade with ginger was outstanding. The seats were very comfortable and the building itself was splendid. I will definitely return to this charming spot.
