Well-known spot in the city center with consistently kind and welcoming staff. Their Bernard 10° beer is especially good. I visited again after a few years and was pleasantly surprised that it still feels just as cozy and familiar. If you find yourself near Národní třída and you’re in the mood for a good beer in a relaxed atmosphere, this is definitely a place worth stopping by.

EDIT: I have written a review after an unpleasant experience in the bar but I have decided to change my review according to how the situation was handled by the owner of the bar. To explain briefly what happened, I will shortly summarize the experience and why I have decided to change the review afterwards. My friends and me have visited this pub many times before and we have never had any issue with the staff or drinks or anything. We love the place, the atmosphere, it is a great pub in the city center that has regular, good prices and is not a tourist trap. We had an issue last time we were there, because of the chaos that was in the pub when we were leaving and we got charged more drinks than we ordered and actually had, which - to be honest - angered me. However, after writing a review, I was contacted by the co-owner of the pub and I was refunded the money we paid extra. I really appreciate that the owners do care for their customer's experiences and are open to solve situations like this. I have been working in service for many years so I believe it was not done on purpose, as I have never experienced anything like this before in this pub and I highly appreciate the professional approach of the owner and how he handled the entire situation. I have therefore decided to change my review despite the bad experience we once had, because overall, we had fun, mistake has been corrected, mistakes happen and we really like the place, like to go there and definitely will be coming back again. Great atmosphere, good beer, fair prices, and friendly staff. Recommended!
