Café Citadela

It’s a great spot to watch the sunset. We had mulled wine and hot chocolate — both were delicious and perfect for keeping us warm on a cold, freezing evening.

Visit to the castle brought us to this little gem eatery. Nice outdoor and indoor setting and friendly English speaking staff. More importantly, great food. We had pulled beef burger and mozzarella pancake, home pickled sausage. It’s the most tender pulled beef, very flavorful and authentic sausage. Even the coleslaw is tasty. And nicely knotted utensils.

Nice and cozy space, the menu is not big, only a few choices but everything that we ordered was really tasty and was served fast. Staff is friendly and speaks English. Payment by credit card is available as well. FYI There is a second room where you can sit, which is visible when you first enter the restaurant

Lovely cafe/ restaurant offering several seating areas inside and nice patio outdoor. Excellent service, good food (we only tried soup of the day though), great coffee and fresh ginger tea. Location exceptional - right at Vyšehrad.

Was hesitant to give this place a review because I want it to stay a hidden gem. The terrace is lovely, with flowers on the table, there is also a linden tree right next to it and the smell is so nice during the early summer. The service was very friendly and everyone spoke english. The food was also the highlight here. We had a buckwheat crepe with chicken on top and was so good I had to try a burger too. Both super delicious. Also the beer was cold and fresh. Can't recommend this place enough!
