This is a place where you find locals having their meals. We saw people that were construction workers, people in suits that were probably on their lunch break... the portions are hearty and the taste is amazing. Food is really well prepared and cooked. We just had the chicken leg with mashed potatos and with Sauerkraut and dumplings. I loved the Sauerkraut and the chicken but the dumplings weren't my favorite, although they were good. The price is really good and you can also try typical Czech food there! The staff was really nice and kind! We payed with card.

Great canteen style restaurante with typical Czech dishes and some tasty vegetarian options. We paid €12 (309Kč) for two tasty and abundant meals and a shared bottle of water. The ghoulash and dumpling dish was fabulous. My wife loved the spinach, mash with leak and fried vegetable dishes. Don’t confuse this place with the next door restaurant on the basement. Highly recommended.

The best food choice for our 1 day stay in old city Prague. I was really surprised how good traditional food there was and even more surprised if our dog was welcome inside without any hesitate. Its not "restaurant" but its called "Tácovka" and you go choose any food they have ready for that day fresh (really amazing). The best Guláš, Svíčková, pork with plum sauce and any other dishes was excelent (hot fresh soup also). We sure will be came back one day if we will be go to Prague again. Sure i recommended to everyone

One of the nice restaurant in Prague!. The staff tried to explain the food to us even though in a simple English. They were nice and warm. The food selection was also quite good. Taste wise it was quite nice. Place was also nice and clean. All in all it was a nice experience and I would like to thank a youtuber called @HonestGuide as both Janek & Honza who created the channel really helped me to get around easily in Prague. Go check their youtube channel it is really good.

Very reasonably priced canteen-style restaurant. Plenty of seating, friendly service and a wide variety of choice. We found food in Prague to be on the more expensive side and visited here three times during our five day stay.
