Absinthe Cafe Čechov

Very cool bar - the absinthe tasting was an experience but definitely not for the faint-hearted. The absinthe is brewed in house, 65% vol and you can make it sweeter if you prefer. I can’t say it tasted great because it was literally pure spirits but a great experience nonetheless. We also had some cherry lips shooters with cream- those were delicious! Something fun for a night out 🧚

A fantastic bar with an unforgettable atmosphere. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and happy to help you choose the perfect drink. A must-visit spot when in Prague. This place is run by truly wonderful people!

A really great experience! I booked this tasting as we don't really have absinthe in Ireland and I wanted to give it a try. It takes place in the basement of the Green Devils Absinthe Bar - a really cool spot right in the centre of all the action! We were the only two there on the day so got the VIP treatment. We tasted 9 samples each - tremendous value! We learnt loads about the different types of absinthe and the history of the drink. Would definitely recommend :)

I had a wonderful tasting experience today! It was so interesting to learn about the history of absinthe and about what makes each variety different. My tasting was led by Tomash who did an excellent job and created a really friendly environment, which I appreciated even more since I was doing the tasting alone. Would definitely recommend and do again if I was visiting Prague in the future!!

We had the best time during our time in Prague, especially our Absithe tasting. Lukas was amazing and shared great knowledge and passion for the different absinthe’s we were trying and we left feeling like Absinthe connoisseurs. We would highly recommend coming here and will definitely be back next time we visit Prague. 💚🤗
