Snug, time-tested restaurant plating traditional dishes amid memorabilia-filled walls....
Wonderful atmosphere! Lovely vibes, place was cozy and relaxed. Played nice music and not too loud, very conversation friendly. The server was lovely and sweet to me and my wife. The food was immaculate, couldn’t fault anything about it. We highly recommend the onglet de boeuf as well as the magret de canard au foire gras. Lovely wine and starters were a good new experience (escargot). We had great desserts in the form of creme brûlée and chocolate mousse. Can’t recommend this place enough! Anytime we’re in Paris we will visit.
Fantastic, authentic bistro run by the loveliest man ever! We went on a Tuesday night and were practically the only people there - the host spoke a little English and was accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend the beef bourguignon!!! And the crème brûlée which was too good to describe. You must come here in montmarte, it is authentic and so worth it. - we spent around €30 per person.
A small quaint established traditional diner with a 80+ years of history. Excellent authentic French dishes served. The creme bulee and tarta tatin were outstanding and highly recommended. Plate sharing is allowed. Unfortunately coq au vin no longer served.
Best meal that we had in Paris. It was perfect. The restaurant was quiet with a handful of locals getting dinner. The service was helpful and our decision was easy. We opted for a beef bourguignon and a duck confit. Both were perfect and exactly what we wanted. The food just seemed so real without trying. I loved the simplicity and the amazing flavors. Also had the crème brûlée for dessert. Service was great and we got to chat with some locals who stopped in for a drink. This seems to be a nice neighborhood establishment.
The food and serving staff were absolutely amazing. From start to finish, everything was handled with such care and attention. We especially loved the atmosphere—sitting at a table outside made the experience even more special. It was the perfect setting to enjoy incredible food and drinks, and to share a beautiful moment of fellowship with a friend. Truly a memorable experience! Merci!
