The Coffee

Accidentally found this place, I ordered flat white ( true white ) and a caramel cookie🍪 they’re both delicious, especially the cookie kinda amazed me🤎 ( I was in a hurry, didn’t have time to take picture of the cookie )

I had a chance to stop at The Coffee recently and had a pleasant experience. The coffee was well made and flavorful, and the place has a calm, comfortable ambiance but small and crowded. Service was polite and the café felt clean and well maintained. The quality matches the prices overall. It is a good spot for a relaxed coffee break.

The place is nice and cute, very cozy. I found the service average — no interaction during the ordering process, no bonjour nor aurevoir, but I guess it depends on the barista serving you. I had a white coffee that day, but you can't taste the coffee, only milk, despite the double shot of espresso. The milk is well-frothed though. Still, for €5, you’d expect something better.

The Coffee has a few espresso bars around the city including this place along Rue Delambre. There is a little indoor space and a few tables outside. Opening hours are 9am to 6pm daily. Place orders on the self-order ipad screen. Coffees are prepared and ready shortly after, espresso I was served was bold, good flavour and overall a solid shot, worth seeking out if you need a caffeine fix.

I would recommend coming here if you’re looking for great pour-overs. You can tell the staff what kind of roast you like, and they will recommend the type that you prefer. My go-to place for coffee when I come to Paris from now on. I ordered the Hot Drip V60 - white, and they gave me Brazilian beans. My friend ordered the V60- Kraft, and he got Ethiopian beans. Wish I had discovered this place at the beginning of my trip.
