The Coffee

I’ve been craving a sweet and refreshing iced latte like the ones I used to have in Korea. I tried a few cafés that said they had iced coffee, but the taste wasn’t quite what I was looking for. I found The Coffe while searching online and decided to give it a try. It’s not exactly the sweet, rich latte I had in mind, but it’s definitely the best iced latte I’ve had in Europe so far! The staff are very kind, and the space is simple yet beautifully designed. It’s a comfortable place where you can relax and take a break. The only small downside is that while the cups and trays are cleared from the tables, the crumbs on the table don’t always seem to be cleaned. I personally prefer a completely clean table, so that was a little disappointing.

The Coffee never fails to make a good impression, no matter which coffee shop you visit. This one is busier than others, giving its location, but it is still a great place to try if you are searching for some comforting drinks/sweets.

Finally, a cup of coffee in Paris I could actually enjoy. At The Coffee, they serve what they call a “true white,” and while it’s not technically a light roast, it’s noticeably lighter and more balanced than anything else I’ve found in the city. You get to customize everything—milk temperature and drink style—with zero attitude. Our barista, originally from Chicago (Yasmine) was so kind and easy to talk to. The space is bright, clean, and intentionally minimal, echoing the care they put into every drink. No burnt milk, no bitterness—just a well-made flat white that reminded me how great coffee can be.

Love the service and atmosphere here! It is very minimalistic and modern. The coffee was too strong for my liking but the croissant was delicious, very flaky and buttery. When you walk up to the counter, you use the tablet to place your order - it is all self serve. Lots of options! The baristas are very efficient and brought my order to my table. The washroom is very clean.
