Trendy, health-focused spot with a seasonal menu, serving bowls, salads & breakfast plates....
I think this is my favorite vegan pain au chocolate & vegan croissant I’ve had during my stay in Paris!! We happened about Season Marais on our way to a matcha shop around the corner and were shocked to see multiple vegan pastry options on the posted menu. When we went inside to confirm and they had vegan pain au chocolate, vegan croissant, and vegan cinnamon rolls in the case! 😍🥐 The pastries were superb! The perfect amount of flaky layers but still soft and also a fabulous distribution of chocolate. Truly such a fabulous fortuitous find! Dare I say these were better than the pastries everyone raves about from Land & Monkeys..?
Saw sooo many recomendations for this spot on social media for pancakes…they were awful. Don’t bother :/ So so so dry even with the caramel sauce (they were also out of the nocciolata 🙄 which seemed like the only good option too). These I fear may have been the worst pancakes I’ve had in Paris :( Ordered: Naked pancakes + caramel sauce. €12
We had a quite good experience having breakfast here. The food was tasty, my friends enjoyed their bread and I had the breakfast pancakes, which were nice but could have used a little more salt. The waitress did seem distracted or a bit disinterested. We had to wait for an order for one person, she said "yes it's coming" when asking about it, only for her to come back 2 min later that they did not have it anymore.
I generally give great reviews to places but this place was pretty terrible. Service and food. First off, when waiting outside, we joined the line (there was a couple ahead of us) and the sign says wait to be seated. But when we got to the front of the line the waiter came outside and told my sister (a small Asian lady), “Did you tell anyone you were here? If you dont tell anyone you were here you can wait for 10 hours!” Insane thing to say. Mind you, there is a sign that said “Please wait to be seated” hmm. He gave us attitude all the way to the table. The other waiter was nice though. The food was incredibly mid. The avocado toast was soggy and the avocado toast was mashed avocado rather than sliced ones as seen in the menu. The naan’s chicken was really dry. I mean really really really dry. I had to drink water to choke it down. Sweet potato fries and pancakes were okay though. You probably shouldn’t come here.
We visited Season for brunch — they serve it every day, which is great! 🍳 We tried the scrambled eggs with avocado and added salmon on the side, as well as the eggs benedict with salmon. Both were tasty, nicely presented. For dessert, we had the caramel pancake — it was okay but could use a bit more sauce. We also ordered the filtered coffee, which wasn’t the best. Overall, the atmosphere is really nice, cozy and lively — definitely a good spot to enjoy a relaxed brunch in Paris.
