I regularly visit this Thai restaurant and highly recommend it. The food is absolutely delicious, with authentic flavors that remind me of my trips to Thailand. Having had the pleasure of dining there several times, I can say that the quality is consistently excellent, which is quite rare. The service is also impeccable: the welcome is warm, attentive, and professional. The owners are incredibly friendly, always smiling, and genuinely concerned about their customers' well-being. It's always a pleasure to return, and it will be very difficult to replace them and find a restaurant of such high quality when they leave. They will be greatly missed. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to discover or rediscover authentic Thai cuisine.
I came for lunch with two friends. We will never set foot in this restaurant again. We ordered the green curry with coconut milk: five tiny, inedible pieces of very poor quality chicken, extremely greasy, swimming in a coconut curry sauce that was a coconut curry in name only... we pointed this out to the manager who clearly didn't care... No compensation was offered on the way out.
Excellent first experience. Warm welcome and everything was delicious!
A very disappointing experience. We came to try this highly-rated restaurant because it's close to home. My starter was very good (Peking soup). My mother ordered a vegetable dish that she enjoyed, jasmine tea, and I had the honey-glazed pork with sticky rice. Before ordering, I asked for more information about what the honey-glazed pork dish was, and the owner simply told me, "It's marinated meat." I asked if it was sliced, and she said yes. When the dish arrived: a few small, thick slices of meat with quite a bit of fat (not just on the edges but also inside), placed on a lettuce leaf soaked in soy sauce. I couldn't taste the honey. My sticky rice was dry (I eat a lot of Asian food, so I know what sticky rice should be like). I didn't touch my dish again and asked for the menu to order something else. The owner brought it to me without asking if anything was wrong. When she came back, I said I'd like to order something else. She said, sounding annoyed, "The kitchen is about to close. *sigh* You don't like your dish?" I explained that the rice was dry and undercooked, that it wasn't sliced ββpork despite my question before ordering, and that the dish had no sauce. I couldn't picture the dish because she couldn't describe it. She simply told me, "I didn't tell you it was sliced ββpork (a lie), that's how roast pork is, it's a Hong Kong specialty." She offered no solution or alternative to try to improve our experience, using the excuse that the kitchen was closing (it was 2:10 PM, and the restaurant closed at 2:30 PM). I looked up Hong Kong roast pork on Google, and while it's true the dish doesn't have sauce, it looks nothing like the dish I was served. I was ready to order something else, but the owner's unpleasant and dishonest attitude put me off. She wasn't customer-oriented and offered no compensation. I had hoped this restaurant would become our new go-to spot for lunch, but we won't be returning.
Good lunch, the only downside is that rice is not served on the main course; you have to order it separately. But otherwise, a delicious meal and a warm welcome.
