It’s the metro with line 4 which will take you to most of the places in Paris. Very food place to doc over Paris. Has many hotels and restaurants.
Unfortunately, our experience with RAPT at the station was the worst possible. On our second day in the city, when we tried to buy tickets at the self-service machines (inside the station and next to the ticket counter), we noticed that a couple were helping those trying to buy tickets, and when it was our turn, the man, who was wearing a company badge, asked us what we needed and ‘helped’ us through the purchase process. In the end, he pulled out different tickets to the ones we wanted to buy and stole a considerable amount from us. Several hours later, after discovering the scam (when we were stopped at another station), we heard from the attendant ‘that this was normal’ and were told to make a formal complaint to the company (RAPT) and seek a refund. He gave us a contact number and said that the service would be available in English. After three attempts, none of the staff spoke English and they all hung up on me. I could only get in touch via the company's Facebook page. They got back to me, gave me all the information and proof of the situation. In the end, all I heard was that they were sorry, but that nothing could be done. Definitely not what you expect when you visit a ‘first world country’. Bad treatment and total disregard for the consumer.
Sunday 15th December. 12.15 pm Very rude unhelpful staff. We bought 3 day travel tickets to travel around paris on Friday, on day 3 (today) they would not work and the staff were very unhelpful, said it is not their problem, the woman on the desk was the rudest and most unhelpful! It was not even her to was assisting us, just got herself involved. To the point we have to spend another €30 on 1 day travel tickets. Awful staff who need retraining in customer service.
The service has got much better lately. Open 7d7, things can get busy yet it is nice to know one can get anything there. Yesterday a special command passed very quickly by the manager to facilitate my treatment. Very good prices for over the counter stuff too.
A quiet and clean station compared to how dirty some of the others can be. I never really saw any staff members or police patrolling but it was a pretty safe neighborhood so not really necessary.
