Petit Train

Excellent journey through the streets (albeit a little bumpy at times) with French music playing and commentary in English Great way to get to Montmartre without having to climb the hill and they go every half hour from Blanche (good to see the Moulin Rouge from where you get the train) Great to see the Sacre Couer but also great views across Paris from the top You just need to be wary of the numerous different scammers once you get to the top!! Absolutely loved it and would definitely take it again

We spotted this train whilst enjoying a coffee in the cafe opposite the Moulin Rouge. Taking the lazy option to visit the Sacre Coeur we got onboard and the operator did take a card payment. The leisurely ride up the hill, with the informative commentary, was a welcome and fun trip seeing things we would have missed had we walked.

The train ride is great, especially with children. It’s a bit bumpy and at times too fast to take a picture but it beats walking. You can take your stroller with you if it’s collapsible. You drive to the top and if you want to take the same train back down, it waits for about 10 minutes.

Absolutely worth the money. Only 10€ but you need to pay in cash. Beautiful small train, which takes you through the neighbourhood of Montmarte. You travel through Paris streets, it is the best way to experience this part of Paris. Best advantage is that you don’t have to walk all the way up to The Basilica of Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre. Absolutely worth the price, which is reasonable.

excellent value for money. €10 per adult on a little train that takes you all the way up the hill to the church which has some amazing views of Paris explore the local are then as there are some amazing bars and restaurants before getting the train back down an hour or so later. can't hear the audio commentary over the cobbled streets but a great way to spend some time. highly recommended
