Good small pub,friendly bar staff

Great bar, with cool people. Contrary to what people say... It's not dirty. It's a bar as old as the hills, but that's what makes it so charming. I'll come back often now.

A bar where I paid €3.50 for a coffee and €4 for a half-pint of beer. It's too expensive, the toilets are filthy, and it always smells like pee inside! I don't know what you found good here...

The Micmanbar!!! Who would have bet in the 80s that if only one remained 37 years later, it would be this one!!! After the many closures of gay bars that opened in the late 70s and early 80s, the Micmanbar is still there with its unique atmosphere!!! Back then, the gay clientele was of all ages; now it's mostly men between 35 and ......) At the Micmanbar, there's no segregation; everyone is accepted and mixes in a rather friendly atmosphere. It wasn't, and still isn't, the trendiest bar in the neighborhood, but I've spent some wonderful evenings on that tiny terrace because the bar was so packed!!! The last time I went there around 2010 (I now live abroad), I still heard old hits from the 80s... (memories, memories)!!! If you're ever in Paris, stop by. You'll step back 35 years to a time when being gay wasn't so bad!!! And to finish with a touch of humor... the stairs leading to the basement at the back of the bar are full of surprises!!! 😉
