Paid €50 for drinks with the cost of €10. Otherwise, it’s great

We visited Le Wintson for drinks and a mixed charcuterie plate, and it exceeded our expectations. The charcuterie selection was excellent and ended up being one of our favorite meals during our 9 days in Europe. You just can't beat delicious food and drink in a beautiful corner cafe!

Great little restaurant. A friend and I were walking by and saw a decent crowd but plenty of seats (inside and out). We wandered in. They found the water who spoke English to handle us. He helped us with wine selections. My friend got (giant) oysters and a salad. I had a steak with peppercorn sauce and we shared a five cheese plate. The food was good. Service was good. We were there for a couple hours and they were content for us to just hang out. Will return.

I’m not sure if the guy at the welcome desk a) Hates Americans b) despises people of color c) is just tragic at his job. Avoid unless you want to get a refresher in rude customer service. Someone needs to train the guy who greets clients, I’m not sure he understands how this is done. Both times I’ve visited the guy with the slightly shaved head was extremely rude, making it really difficult to find our reservation, arguing impolitely. Do you think the management actually cares about customer service? The rest of the team was actually pretty great except for this guy. We actually told the manager, who then told him. Instead of apologizing, he proceeded to justify his behavior. Either way, spend your money elsewhere.

The service was nice and it's clearly an institution but honestly I do not understand why. We had two lunch dishes and both were some of the lowest standard of cooking we've ever had in Paris and unfortunately the price doesn't make you want to come back either.
