Long-running, family-operated restaurant serving brasserie fare in a traditional setting....
I have made a very nice experience here. Our food and wine was delicious. Our server was very patient with my french and accommodating with our little „accident“ of ordering intestines. A very french restaurant! The ambience is really cozy. 🇫🇷 If you are nice, you might get a shot after payment ;)
We were out for a stroll and came upon this lovely brasserie. It was after 2:00 pm, but we were enthusiastically welcomed in for lunch. Our server, Romy, was absolutely delightful! He spoke perfect English to my husband, and he was extremely kind and patient with my French (which I know is filled with errors). We had a delightful and relaxed lunch with lots of good conversation. My smoked salmon was fresh and wonderful. My husband ordered le boeuf special, which he said was delicious. Our lunch was a fantastic experience of fine food, excellent service, and a nice respite from city bustle. Hope to see you again, Romy! Highly recommend Le Sully!
Excellent service in both French and English when required (we slipped back and forth if the subject matter was complex but our server always returned to French when we did). That’s one of the things we look for since we try to speak the language of our host country as much as possible. Filet de hareng was very tasty and the pommmes vapeur perfect. Magret de canard equally delicious with helping side helping of pommes de terre puréed avec lashings of beurre. Tarte tatin came highly recommended and did not disappoint. We had a lovely experience and a relaxing lunch.
Fantastic! Our family enjoyed everything from starters to dessert, absolutely delicious. At all times, the service from everyone there was incredibly friendly and attentive. A short walk from the river, the atmosphere both inside where we ate and outside on the terrace was a perfect french vibe. Stop in to eat or drink, you will not be disappointed.
The service and food are both fantastic. This restaurant is outside of the main attractions of Paris, so it feels more authentic to visit here and it's not as busy. You can get local cuisine and very friendly service in both French or English. I have an allergy as well and I was happy to eat there.
