Polite staff. Everything you would expect from a typical french cafe-tabac shop

I agree with other reviews. The owner of the tobacco shop is about as friendly as a prison guard. This neighborhood store has no soul; the atmosphere is dreary and lifeless. A shame for the area. It's not a brasserie. They don't serve any food. Everything is depressing at Saint Claude. Only the owner is decent and polite. Avoid it at all costs...

I've never seen such an unpleasant and arrogant boss. While I occasionally go for a coffee and play the lottery, I ask him if he has any stamps, which isn't unheard of in a tobacco shop. He replies, "Is this a post office?" No, there you go.
