Great breakfast, homemade hot croissants.
We were a table of 13 people and everything was excellent, we were served by the manager, a charismatic gentleman who knows how to make himself pleasant. The food was very good. I recommend the restaurant with all confidence.
The waitress Bella was really welcoming and friendly. She encouraged us to try the breakfast — and we’re glad we did! It’s a pity we’re leaving tomorrow, otherwise we would definitely come back. 😊
What a great place to have dinner, I came here based on google maps recommendations and I'm glad I did. The service was amazing, the waiter was attentive and very polite I asked him for a wine recommendation, and he brought a really good one. I ordered the oeuf mayo, very simple dish but really good; then le tartare bistrot, that was simple delicious; an ended with the profiteroles au chocolat. The meal was amazing, and the place was just a piece of Paris that is not in the tourist zones. If you want to experience a neighborhood restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere this is the place.
OK, this time it's going to be long... Summary: I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a pleasant dining experience away from the bustling crowds of Paris. A special thank you for the birthday cake! On our first night, we sat down at a table after 10 o'clock. It was our first day in the city, and we were tired and hungry, having not had much time together since our children were born. A well-prepared waiter warmly welcomed us and attended to all our needs. We selected dishes from the menu, and also requested a bottle of wine. It's not just because we were hungry, but both of our meals were absolutely fantastic! I have attached some pictures as well. Perhaps it was evident that we were tourists and unsure about the wine selection, but the waiter could have easily convinced us to go for the most expensive option. Thankfully, he recommended a reasonably priced bottle, which turned out to be delicious. After dinner, we playfully joked that we live just across the street and would definitely visit again. And true to our word, we did! The next day, we arrived home very late and unfortunately, the kitchen was already closed. We tried finding something to eat nearby, but after being turned away from two other places, we sadly returned to the restaurant to have a bottle of wine before going to bed. Then, something magical happened – within minutes, they brought out a cold dish with an assortment of cheeses, hams, salami, and pâté that exceeded our wildest expectations. It was the perfect way to end another amazing day! On the third occasion, my wife held a rose in her hand, and after we were seated, I mentioned that we were celebrating her birthday that day. Although we had only dropped in for a glass of wine and dessert before our evening plans, a few minutes later, a beautifully presented dessert arrived on a decorated plate, complete with a lit candle. It was a delightful surprise for both of us. Unfortunately, the restaurant closes at 3 pm on Sundays, and since we returned later, we couldn't bid them farewell. Additionally, on our last day, we had to leave early for the airport. Therefore, I chose this method to express our gratitude – a big thank you for everything, and here's to many more satisfied customers for Le P'tit Gavroche! Ági és Tamás
