Walking by this restaurant during work, I always saw it was packed full, and now I know why. Simply delicious! I had a main plate off the menu of the day and was surprised by the meal. The staff were super friendly, attentive, and professional throughout the service. The trout was a good cut and the flavor was incredible. The wine I had paired nicely and the dish was plated beautifully. I will defiantly be going back!

Perfect spot for people watching. Reasonable prices and super friendly staff. Recommend the salmon linguine.

Le Progrès is our go-to spot in the Marais, its wine list never disappoints, and the bistro atmosphere feels authentically Parisian. The staff can be hit or miss, some evenings they are attentive, other times more typically French in their reserve. Either way, grab a glass of wine, settle in, and enjoy the Parisienne vibe. Don't miss the cheese plate 🧀😉

Friendly spot with a cracking view – perfect for a pre-hill pint! Stopped off here for a quick drink before heading up to Sacré-Cœur and it was a great little find. We sat outside with a lovely view of the area – perfect for people-watching and soaking in the atmosphere. Pints were €9.50, which is definitely on the pricier side, but it’s a prime location so not unexpected. We didn’t eat, but the food coming out looked decent and the place had a nice, relaxed feel to it. Staff were really friendly and welcoming, which makes a big difference. All in all, it set us up nicely for the trek up the hill to Sacré-Cœur. Would happily pop in again for a drink in the sunshine.

The food was just okay, but WOW the atmosphere was AMAZING! The main server (you'll know who I'm talking about when you go) has a great energy about him and is super helpful when picking out what to eat - it was very entertaining and my group of friends and I enjoyed getting a late lunch here. I would highly recommend coming for a casual lunch with great service. A good place to people watch too.
