Le Montespan

Two excellent visits during our Scottish rugby fans' weekend in Paris for Scotland v France. The first one on Friday afternoon (great beer, great food and a welcoming barman). The second one on our return from watching U20s on Friday night: open late where we once again enjoyed great hospitality (more beer, singing Scottish and French national anthems). Recommended!

The delicious food: best tartar I’ve ever had. We tried Aligot sausage for the first time and it was delicious (especially mashed potatoes with cheese)

Had the veal liver and it was amazing. Delicious, juicy, so flavorful. Loved every bite

You rarely find snails this big and succulent in traditional brasseries in Paris. Highly recommend this establishment, great quality for the price. Goes really well with a glass of St-Nicolas de Bourgeuil.
