Inexpensive place for drinks and food. Service is slow if they are busy but prices are very reasonable and food is good. Friendly place overall

A short break in our walk from Place D'Italie to the Seine along Rue De Monge, stopping off for a visit at Le Menagerie Le Zoo Du Jardin des Plantes. A refreshing glass of white wine, a small glass of Grimbergen along with a cheese & ham toasties and a fresh 🥖 baguette of ham & emmental - served by a pleasant waiter. Nice little bar to watch the world go 👋 by.

Just stopped in to use the bathroom because of an emergency with my daughter. Was told it was €1 to use bathroom. I was okay with paying this, but when I gave the waitress €10 she only gave me back €3 instead of €7. I’m certain she was trying to cheat me because I did not know French. I do not recommend an establishment that is dishonest to customers.

Food is good and inexpensive.

I had the worst breakfast during my 1 week trip to Paris at this place. I stayed on a nearby hotel so I thought it was a nice idea to stop by for breakfast. Coffee was good (That is the only reason I'm not giving this place a 1 star). As soon as I walked in I was ignored for a long time. No menu, nothing. Finally waitress comes with a menu and after ordering she brings me my traditional breakfast. My cooking skills are not good, but my breakfast is waaay better than theirs. Wanted to pay with my credit card, and there was a minimum of 15 Euros!! Waitress didn't understand a single word of english or spanish. Look somewhere else for breakfast
