It seems that if you're not a regular, you won't be well received. This Sunday, a grumpy old waiter said he'd rarely been so disappointed to have a drink in a bistro.

Seated there unexpectedly, it was a calm and relaxing spot, with shaded outdoor tables. Among a clientele of friendly yet discreet locals, the young owner (?) provided impeccable and exceptionally cheerful service. Far removed from globalization and automated processes, it was nonetheless perfect from start to finish. Especially my espresso, which had a rare flavor. Truly professional service, thank you.
