Typical PMU bar, in its original state, in need of renovation. Friendly welcome...probably reserved for regulars!

To begin with: best Indian food I ever had "outside India". We went from California to Paris for vacation and being vegetarians we were starving for some good food, as, Parisians seem to meat lovers and there was hardly any option for vegetarians. Luckily we found this place "Kashmir House" and were amazed to find that somebody could actually cook Indian food as flavorful as you get in India. We ordered Matar Paneer, Chana Daal, Naan, Kashmiri Pulao, Veg Pakoda and Masala Chai/ Tea. Surprisingly people in France (or may be Paris) do not eat/like cottage cheese (Paneer) therefore they do not keep paneer. Instead we were served Processed Cheese - Matar , a dish which I had never eaten/ heard of or imagined in my life. When I ate it, I could not believe that this innovative dish could taste so much delicious and flavorful than our typical Matar - paneer. We actually called the manager and payed our compliment for introducing us to such a wonderful preparation. Chana Daal had never tasted this good and ah! those Naans; so soft and tasty. The staff spoke with us in Hindi, which made us feel at home and the manager himself attended to us. Ambience was warm and cozy. I would recommend this place to all Indians and Non indians who love Indian food. such delicious Indian food that too in Paris makes this restaurant a must visit place.
