Great service and friendly staff. Menu in like 10 languages. Great cocktails and wine. The food was amazing rigatoni, schrimps risotto and the creme brulee was perfect. Highly recommend it!
If you fancied proper real cuisine, and experience the "bistrot parisien", i truly recommend this place! You will feel very welcomed, nothing is too much trouble, and the food is out of this world!!
Food here is absolutely beautiful. First time in Paris and first meal here, we were extremely happy and our server Ahoune was very helpful; kind enough to explain everything un English. We had an amazing time here, thank you so much.
This was a great find just down the street from our hotel. We stopped in one evening after seeing it crowded night after night. It's in a great location in a quiet neighborhood. The restaurant is cozy (in a good way) and the outdoor seating almost doubles the capacity. The menu offered a nice variety of options and our group of eight each found something we liked. Overall, the food was excellent. The breaded chicken sandwich was a favorite. We opted for a few desserts as well. The chocolate cake was a winner. The only reason for the four start review was the cigarette smoke. We opted to leave early because it was so bad. I was amazed at the number of places around Paris that allowed it.
What a gem in the exquisite French cuisine! Starting from the location - central neighbourhood, but a quiet street (at least in the evening), going through the relaxing atmosphere, the balanced furnishing and finishing with the professional service and the exceptional taste of the food - this brasserie is a real treasure! The staff is very polite and helpful, the food is homemade, prepared with high quality ingredients and by using healthy culinary techniques. The design of the plates is eye catching, awakening all your receptors at a glimpse. The menu card (there is an English version as well) is just a page, but pretty enough to guarantee freshly cooked meals with a diversity of tastes. Amongst the variety of delicious dishes I would distinguish the lamb tatin, wich gives you a blast of flavours and incredible tenderness, and the sea bream filet, wich is served grilled with a base of vegetables in an unique combination. I have to mention also the sourdough bread, coming as a compliment. The wine list is very good, matching perfectly the refined meals. Last, but not least, the moelleux au chocolat (or just the lava cake) served with vanilla ice cream is an explosion of flavours and a fantastic end of a perfect dinner! A big thank to all of you guys for running this place in such a wonderful and attractive way! We'll definitely come back!
