Seafood platters, oysters & lobster, plus brasserie standards, in an opulent 1800s establishment....
A wonderful place with a truly luxurious atmosphere. The design of the restaurant is very stylish and elegant you feel comfortable and impressed from the very first moment. The interior is thoughtfully designed and creates the perfect setting for a special evening. The food was also excellent. We ordered a seafood platter, escargots, meat, and prosecco everything was beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious. You can really feel the quality and care in every dish. Overall, this is the kind of restaurant you visit for the atmosphere, great food, and a memorable evening. Highly recommended for dinner or a special occasion.
Amazing experience! Food was great! Best part was our waiter Cleber! Amazing amazing waiter! Was quick! Got everything right! Got all our needs and was very kind and warm! Will be back on my next trip to Paris and hope that Cleber will be my waiter when I return again!
If you love seafood, Grand Café de Capucines is a must-visit in Paris. The quality and freshness of their seafood are simply outstanding — beautiful oysters, perfectly prepared lobsters, and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The service is fast and well-organized, even when the restaurant is busy. A fantastic place to enjoy truly fresh seafood in the heart of the city. Highly recommended! 💙
Grand Café Capucines was a great place to eat. The food was excellent from start to finish. The oysters were the best I have ever had. The foie gras was also very good. The crème brûlée was pretty great and a perfect way to end the meal. Our server, Sebastian, was amazing. He was kind, fast, and made us feel very welcome. The only small problem was the onion soup. It had way too much cheese. Overall, a wonderful meal with great service. I would happily come back.
We tried the onion soup, snails, Couteaux, and French fries. The food was good, the prices were surprisingly reasonable, and the service was outstanding — special thanks to Saran for being attentive and friendly. The only issue was that the snails and Couteaux were served cold. I’m sure they would have replaced them if we had asked, but we didn’t. Overall, a pleasant experience with great value and excellent service.
